An Afternoon with Team IBM

A perfect afternoon with Team IBM at Robert (Bob) Conlin’s cottage in Lac-Sainte-Marie, just north of Ottawa.

There was barbecue, music, good weather, and the kind of unhurried conversation that is hard to fit between meetings. Spending time together outside work was a reminder that strong teams are built through everyday relationships as well as shared projects.

Bob, thank you for your generous hospitality and for making everyone feel welcome. I came straight from a customer meeting in business attire and missed the chance to join the shorts-and-summer-clothes crowd, but I was glad I could make it.

It was a simple, memorable day with colleagues. I’m already looking forward to the next one.
