Every July 4 brings back memories. I landed in New York in 1995 and spent eight unforgettable years in Forest Hills, Queens. The city shaped me personally and professionally, and it still feels like a second home.
Today I’m proud to call Canada home while celebrating the country that opened many doors for me. After living, working, and traveling across the United States, it can still feel as if I never left.
I’m also grateful for the career and friendships I’ve built at IBM as I approach two decades with the company. The journey connects my roots, the place that helped shape my future, and the country I’m fortunate to call home today.
Wishing everyone in the United States a safe and joyful Independence Day.
