One Day to Go: What Spectrum Symphony Day Was Set to Explore

The day before Spectrum Symphony Day in New York, I was looking forward to conversations about a practical question: how can financial institutions get more from the compute resources behind their most demanding workloads?

The workshop was set to bring together client experiences, technical discussions, and demonstrations touching on risk analytics, high-performance computing, AI, OpenShift, and IBM Cloud.

Workloads such as CCAR, counterparty credit risk, CVA and xVA, and value-at-risk calculations put real pressure on speed, capacity, and efficient resource use. Comparing approaches with peers and product experts can help teams identify which questions to investigate in their own environments.

This post preserves the anticipation ahead of the August 20, 2026 event. The most valuable outcome was the chance to learn from the people operating these systems and the teams building them.
