Financial Risk Workloads Need Scalable Compute

Financial institutions face constant pressure to process increasingly complex risk models faster, at greater scale, and with reliable results.

Workloads can include CCAR, counterparty credit risk, CVA and xVA, and value at risk. Each creates its own demands on compute capacity, data movement, and the time teams have to produce results.

There is no single infrastructure choice that fits every firm. The useful questions are specific to your environment: where are the bottlenecks, how does demand change through a cycle, and how effectively are existing resources being used?

At Spectrum Symphony Day, clients, partners, and technology leaders came together to compare approaches to these problems and discuss how workload orchestration can support compute-intensive financial applications.
